HOKA shoes and Oofos flip-flops — two of my favorite pieces of footwear.
The brand of sport crop pants (also called capris) that I wear all summer long is FILA. They’re comfortable and perfect for walking.
But since it’s hard to find good photos of those, I decided to just share a picture of my favorite walking shoes instead – HOKA Clifton 9 Running Shoes.
(Despite the fact that they’re called running shoes, they’re excellent for walking, too … and SOOO comfortable!)
I had never heard of this brand before my struggles with plantar fasciitis (PF) started, but when I tried on a pair last year, I knew I’d found my new favorite walking shoes!

I’ve discovered another great brand of shoes for PF, too – Oofos.
The Oofos flip-flops I bought early this summer felt so strange at first, I almost considered returning them (despite the fact that the saleswoman told me no one had ever returned a pair of these).
Trying them on one last time before returning them to the store, I changed my mind when I realized I didn’t want to take them off!
I had absolutely no foot pain at all while I was wearing them!
