A few years ago, I was looking for a wall-mounted spice rack, since kitchen counter space was limited in the place we had just moved to.
I also wanted it to look nice … and (if possible) fit in with the “color scheme” of our kitchen and dining area.
I finally found the perfect solution – a 4-tiered spice rack made with black chicken wire.
The shelves were deep enough to accommodate all of our spices AND went well with our black kitchen appliances and furniture.
At first, I tried keeping the spices organized by alphabetizing them … but I soon realized what a huge waste of my time that was! I knew there were other things far more deserving of my mental energies than that task was. (It’s all about choices, right?)
Being able to see all of my spices in one spot, without having to search through a cupboard, has made this one of my most valuable kitchen tools!
