Canva is something I’d heard a lot about, but had never actually tried USING until over a year ago. I was starting to create social media posts for a client each week, and I knew Canva would be the best way to do that.

I had no idea what a treat I was in for!

For the first few months, I used the free version, and I honestly thought that was good enough.

But eventually, I decided to test the waters with CANVA PRO – which I learned was more affordable than I’d expected.

It wasn’t long before I was hooked. I would NEVER go back to the free version now!

Why? Here are just a few reasons:

BACKGROUND REMOVER – I’ve used this tool with photos MANY times, not only for my client’s posts, but also for images in my own content.

TRANSPARENT BACKGROUND – Being able to download images with a transparent background is a great time-saver when you’re placing them in documents that aren’t white.

(Before I had this tool, I always had to open the downloaded image in a photo editing program like Paint or Photoshop, remove the background there, and THEN place it in the document.)

FULL ACCESS to Canva’s photo, element, video, and audio library – I used to be frustrated by not being able to use images or elements I saw when I still had the free version.

CANVA TEMPLATES – I haven’t had a chance to use this feature yet, but I know I will eventually.

MAGIC RESIZE – With this tool, you can quickly reformat any design to fit the size requirements for multiple social media platforms … all at once! I’m looking forward to using this tool often, as I start increasing the number of platforms I’m working with.

Canva is a great USER-FRIENDLY way to add images to your content!
