Despite the fact that Gmail has a wide variety of features (including templates and email snooze), my favorite is Gmail’s scheduling feature.

Gmail allows me to schedule emails to be sent at a specific time of day … several days in advance, if necessary!

It’s a huge time-saver and allows me to quickly cross this important task off my list. Being able to schedule messages for times when the people I’m emailing are more likely to SEE the messages is a big advantage, too.

When I first switched to Gmail (after years of using Outlook), I was frustrated by not being able to easily see the string of messages my message was connected to. Now, however, I’m used to it.

(At the travel magazine where I worked for over 8 years, all of us were on Apple computers. Due to the age of my computer – which was apparently the oldest one in the office [lucky me!], I wasn’t able to use Thunderbird for my email. But that’s when I realized how much I actually LIKED working with Gmail.)
